The introduction of the stylish and powerful BJ40L has given local consumers a new choice. Looking to further increase, Gulf Great Sands and BAIC International hit it off, launching a customized version of the exclusive model according to local consumer demand.

Local road environment is mostly mountain roads and deserts. The differential lock, off-road tires and chassis are necessary to enhance the off-road capability. To ensure long single driving mileage, the additional fuel tank is needed.

This customized version of BJ40L was built by the hard work of the staff of BAIC International and BAIC TAP.

◆ Due to the time difference, the time for both parties to discuss demand and modification plan was at night in Beijing time;

◆ Due to the high requirements of overseas sales for sail schedule, employees of BAIC TAP worked throughout nights to ensure the punctuality.

◆ For after-sales service, both parties were carefully crafted from every step of the prototype to the modified car...

On October 29, local media and customers all thumbed up after test drive, many consumers even signed the intention to buy a car on the same day, and even led sales of other models.
